Videos: My First Gold Ring !

Just remember, when you're metal detecting and if you get a nickel or pull tab signal and you decide to pass it up, you may have just passed up a nice ring! This is your decision to make.

Agreed-

You've got to dig every signal regardless, too many gold rings fall in pull tab territory.

Also, you need to always rescan your dig hole after digging trash. Last saturday, I pulled me best valued civil war relic-a Federal US oval belt plate/buckle at 8 inches down. The plate is in very good condition.

I am very thankful for digging one of these most sought after and coveted items, but I am also thankful for having the presence of mind to rescan the hole after first removing the metal wire in the hole that was my first target. Had
I walked away after first digging a trash target from the hole, my US Federal Belt Buckle would still be in the ground awaiting another happy the'r to come right after me and dig it up.

Yes I dug a half of horse shoe up at 6 inches on an old road in the woods , after throwing horse shoe part out , I rechecked hole and there was a ring in below it about an inch. , ky digger ron
